We both laughed.

Though, it's not even close to being a laughing matter.

This was the comment a friend made to me this morning as we were discussing the looming mandate for her to 'keep her job' and which option she was going to choose.

A decision that was never a decision for me.

Just for the people in the back...

That is how a lot of us women feel.

Regardless of what is being pushed on us, when we are being forced to do something against our will,

To our bodies,

It is RAPE. PERIOD.

And I refuse for anyone or anything to be pushed upon me anymore.

πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ

I choose sovereignty.

I choose to exercise my power and my voice.

My body is mine and it has taken me a very long time to reclaim it.

Over my dead body will I ever let anyone rape my energy, my body, my free will EVER AGAIN.

For those women who feel they don't have a choice, I see you.

For those women who feel they can't stand up and fight, I will. For you, for us.

For those women who feel like they can't use their voice and say NO, I will. For you, for us.

For those women who feel violated and suppressed, I feel you.

For those women who are doing what they have to, to survive, I honour your courage to face your rapist. I farking see you!

For those women who are done and don't know how to hold it together, I'm here.

I'm building a tribe of women, creating circle where you KNOW you are not alone, regardless of if you are jbd or not. I'm here to hold you.

We are all in this together.
