Wearing Scars With Pride
The scorn of his words
The venom from his lips
Burned her heart and blistered her ego
Momentarily, caught in the rage
Fire burning inside
The inferno encompassed, suffocated
STOP FUELLING IT, she reminded herself
Just stop, she whimpered
Her inner child crying, unsafe once more
Her inner teen boiling, ready to defend again
Block the energy
Let the scorn go
Suck out the venom
Spit it out, returning it to Mother
Let the fire burn out
The ambers turn to coal
Slow down
Breath
Transmute
This is nothing new
Though THIS IS the last time
She rises, the fire now burning within
She lay down her weapons
Though protects still
She is unafraid
Wearing her scars with pride
The million fires that had burned her before
She is fierce, yet gentle
She chooses love and expands her depths
Not ignorant, blinding love
She chooses devotional love, cataclysmic love
To herself
For herself
The wise woman knows
She creates and abolishes
Her courage birthed through moments like these
She is unscorned as once was
Bitterness not reside here
Grateful, present, brave
The light illuminated brighter
Home she returns once more
The yearning gone
She resides within her sacred heart
Embraced by her inner sanctuary
Held safe by her inner warrior
Nurtured by her inner mother
There is nowhere else to be
With no one else but her
She is safe, held, protected
She is worthy of her own love
She honours her boundaries
She grows from it all
How sweet it is to be loved by you, she whispers
Self love, self respect, self acceptance
She grows because she knows
It's not external to her
She is the projector of it all
The holograms of life is her reflection
She faces it, goes within
Breathes in the pain
Softens a little more
Expands to new paradigms
She welcomes the truth of her soul
She always was and always will be who she is looking for
She is the one
She is ready to receive her love
